Original Joe's gave us the best hot dog we've ever had. We came in late at night to hide from the rain as we called an Uber. We decided to grab the cheapest thing on the menu to share since we weren't very hungry. Turned out, it was the best hot dog either of us had ever had! We quickly ordered a second one. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful as well. Will definitely be back next time we're in Portland.
The different types of goods is good. Was a great item to eat for breakfast while waiting for a car upgrade.
My dad and my sister and I were going to boomers which didn't allow my sister and I because were "minors" so we went to the near by Original Joe's. We had a blast there. Between the food, dessert, and overall it was very fun. We were all laughing, talking to the staff, and etc. Would 10/10 recommend!
This is no longer a dog friendly restaurant. No pets, no support animals, and no therapy dogs. Service animals only. And food for daaaaaaaays! Omg. Everything food!
Let me preface this review by saying there seem to be a lot of strangely complicated things going on in some other reviews. I stopped by and ordered 2 bento box meals to go. I did not have a backpack or messenger bag or any other similar accessory with me. I did not play video poker. Both bento boxes (coconut curry and sesame ginger) were fantastic: a lot of food for the price; very flavorful; prepared to order in a reasonably short amount of time.
Excellent deli with yummy options randing from sandwiches to really delicious bento, all served with friendly service. I've never had to wait and it's rarely more than $10 for a great meal.
